The asura are a diminutive, highly intelligent race that considers themselves superior to other races in Tyria. They love building things, thinking up improvements to the things they built, and dream of one day conquering the world through their genius and their inventions. They love using big words to emphasize their intellects and will toss in an insult to make sure the "dumber races" know who the smartest person in the room is.

An arcane book, a piping-hot vessel of tea, and a whole afternoon free. Ah, what more could a woman ask for?
Oh, no. This passage just awakened some ancient army of the dead. Where did I leave that illuminated tome of binding countermagic?
You, flip over the table and barricade the door with it. No, remove the runes first. And do it safely! They date back to the eighth century!
They're proceeding through the door! Please, repel them. I don't want to be devoured by the undead.
Fantastic. You drove them back long enough for me to enact the counterspell. That arcane book is now inert, and I still have tea.
I want you to stay away from the stacks. This research is delayed enough as is, and I don't need missing books slowing me down more.
Bloody Prince Thorn
Role: Son of an insane tyrant, murderer
Social Status: High
Centuries ago, Edrick Thorn was the only son of the King Oswald Thorn, the feared and fabled "Mad King" of Kryta. Whereas his father was known for madness and a literal killer sense of humor, Edrick was a sadist who loved torturing and murdering his subjects for fun, thus earning the title "The Bloody Prince."
Edrick's bloodlust became too much for his father, who was disappointed in his son's utter lack of style in his depravities. The Mad King attempted to teach his son a lesson by stuffing him in a box and starving him. Edrick eventually died from starvation and his father bound his son's body and spirit to box. To make sure no one else learned of his disappointment of a son, the Mad King erased "the bloody prince" from the royal records and butchered anyone who spoke of him.
Edrick now aches for his freedom which would be devoted to finding his father and making him suffer for being left to die in the box.
Character Traits (personality): sadistic, excitable, a short fuse, arrogant
Voice Quality (physical): squeaky when excited or happy, growling when angry
You served your prince with honor. I shall not draw and quarter you tonight.
Is that candy corn? I told you a thousand times to keep that out of my sight!
My father's forces! Slit their throats and let them die drowning in their blood. Do it for your prince!
You expect me to take your apology for an answer? That's not an answer; that's an invitation to put my sword through your neck.
Subjects, your prince is happy. I urge you all to smile to keep me in a good mood.
Fail me and you'll die a slow death. I'm still deciding between starvation and hunting you in the wild.
